The group Quinteto Tiempo originated in the city of La Plata, Argentina.
Since 1975 and especially with the dictatorship installed in 1976 the group suffered threats and censorship, which prevented them from disseminating their work in Argentina. Under such restrictions they recorded five albums between 1975 and 1982 and participated in international festivals and worked together with other important artists.
For example they performed at the 4.
"Festival of Political Song" in 1974 in East Berlin.
This LP was recorded in Argentina in the mid to late 1974 for Emi-Odeon, but (according to the information on the group´s website) published since 1975 in Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany, Finland and Japan by record labels like EMI, CBS, DIDECA, Disco, Capitol and Toshiba.
