Philips released a selection of these recordings on the 45 RPM single "Songs von Kurt Weill" (Philips 429 207 BE) which is featured here.
The complete recordings were later re-released on the CD "Kurt Weill: Berlin & American Theater Songs, CBS MK 42658" in 1988.
Lotte Lenya was accompanied by Roger Bean and his orchestra.

When I was in high school and had begun studying German, I wanted to retain my limited skills in the language during the Summer. Fortunately the local library had a copy of this album and Lotta Lenya was my tutor for one month. Thank you so much for posting it. She was simply wonderful.
Of course I first heard the name Lotte Lenya from Bobby Darin's rendition of Mack The Knife in 1959. I always thought she was just some unfortunate dame that got sliced up on the waterfront or something.
Since then, however, I have grown to love her singing and the whole Berlin cabaret scene of the 1930s. Not to mention Kurt Weill. Thank you for this.
